I guess I wait as there's no way I can reinstall the OS on the desktop, way too many apps to replace on there. There ARE other people reporting this issue with the Installer/Updater if you look around the forums, but it appears unclear as to whether this is a Mac OS or ProTools issue. So, after having tried 9.0.1 as well, it just looks like 10.6.7 is simply not supported and not yet compatible. I did make sure to install the latest Midi I/O and 002/003 Drivers from Avid for 9.0. NO DICE – ProTools still can not see my 003 interface, instead it can only see the "Pro Tools Aggregate I/O".
